  I broke a tooth and promptly saw my dentist who placed a crown on the broken tooth. For two months after my crown I still experienced chronic aching pain and severe sensitivity to cold on that tooth. I went to Dr. Potter for a consultation. She carefully examined my tooth and performed several diagnostic tests to evaluate the condition of the tooth and all of my options. This was my first root canal so naturally I was apprehensive. She clearly explained the procedure so that I had a complete understanding of the process and the overall benefits. I decided to have the root canal two days before Christmas so that I could finally get some pain relief and hopefully enjoy Christmas dinner. The whole process took an hour and 15 minutes. I was surprised at how easy the procedure was and appreciated how she explained each step in the process as it happened. It was easier than my crown! I felt immediate pain relief and no negative effects. On Christmas day I enjoyed an amazing dinner all thanks Dr. Potter!
